Sa Carrotja

An idyllic place. Without a doubt the best getaway I have done in Mallorca. The farm is beautiful; the gardens, the greenery, the plants, trees and flowers are beautiful. The house is extremely cozy, has 12 very clean and spacious rooms. The outdoor pool is heated so you can enjoy it on a cloudy day. The outdoor shower of the pool has hot water, so you can shower outdoors and even if it is a little cold it is tremendously pleasant. However, the swimming pool has a large and fully equipped bathroom (ample shower tray, soap, towels and hairdryer), so when you leave the room you can continue enjoying the estate and then shower behind closed doors. Breakfast has been spectacular, one morning on the terrace outside the Sun and the next day on a covered terrace but open to the outside listening to a small jet of water coming out of a rock fountain that is mesmerizing you along with birdsong. This relaxing Mood accompanied by a good coffee with a variety of vegetable milks, a variety also of breads to which more good, a spectacular goat cheese, an exquisite tomato and avocado salad along with some deep yellow scrambled eggs from the chickens themselves that have on the estate. And I don’t want to forget the top-notch virgin olive oil and the coca salt to dress it. At night the path to the rooms is properly lit but not too much to avoid light pollution to the maximum so you can see a million stars shining in the sky lying on the terrace of the room. Indescribable sense of peace. I won't finish my review without mentioning Guillem, the owner of the estate. One of the most human and heartfelt people I've ever met. An educated, attentive and detailed man who runs his agritourism with a tremendously friendly and professional team. We will certainly be back next year.

We have just come back from a lovely few days staying at Sa Carrotja it’s in a great location with easy access to Ses Salines which a small town with an abundnace of great place to eat. The staff could not have been more helpful and the place has a relaxed easy charm. They also have free bikes if you want to cycle and explore

Sadly, we didn't experience Sa Carrotja but want to raise an issue for others. We booked twice with Sa Carrotja, having to change our dates and ultimately had to cancel. The second booking's cancellation was not recorded by their website and 2 weeks later, we received a bill which they insist on despite our explaining we had cancelled. They never reached out to us when we didn't show up either or we'd have cleared it all up at that time. We cancelled shortly before leaving the US so didn't check to see if they confirmed the cancellation - our fault! BUT- This is not acceptable and appears to be consistent with other posts about booking issues around Mallorca. Be very careful or this could happen to you.
