Our 3rd year in a row here as a family of 5 (5,79 years old) plus nana, grandad. It's faultless, simple as that. The Seashell bar/restaurant is the place to be through the day if you have kids believe me. Hamza, Khalid & Ricardo go the extra mile especially. Great fresh food in this bar (they all are btw) but it comes much quicker as the team on this bar really have it right. Cheers guys! See you next year!

We spent a week here as two best friends after choosing this hotel/apartment complex because of its many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was quite different. First of all, keep in mind that this is a huge resort. It is divided into seven smaller areas, and from the reception it took us around 10 minutes to walk to our apartment. Our pool was absolutely fine, and we have no complaints about that. However, the apartments are very noisy. You can hear people in the surrounding rooms very easily, which often resulted in poor nights of sleep. On our second day, our apartment developed a very strong sewage smell. A maintenance worker came to inspect it, but the issue was never properly resolved. The refrigerator also made an extremely loud noise. We were told it would be replaced, but unfortunately that never happened. We also suspect that the air conditioning filter wasn’t very clean, as we both experienced frequent sneezing while staying in the apartment. If you’re visiting Alcúdia because you’re looking for nightlife, entertainment, and a lively atmosphere, I probably wouldn’t recommend this location. There is one main street where things become a bit more lively, but don’t expect vibrant clubs or beach clubs where you can dance and enjoy a great atmosphere. We also found many restaurants in the area to be quite expensive. Overall, if you’re around 30 years old and looking for a more vibrant holiday, I wouldn’t recommend this complex. It is mainly geared towards families with young children. Of course, if you’re looking for a quiet family holiday, your experience may be very different from ours. One thing we did enjoy was renting bicycles, which is a great way to explore the area. However, there are very few dedicated cycle paths, so you often have no choice but to ride on the road, which led to several situations that felt unsafe. Almost every day, local drivers shouted at us or insulted us simply because we were cycling. As experienced cyclists from the Netherlands, we always followed the traffic rules, stayed to the side whenever necessary, and rode as considerately as possible. Despite this, we were repeatedly approached in a very aggressive manner. At one point, someone even threw coins at me from a passing vehicle. Instead of feeling like a relaxing way to explore the island, cycling became a stressful and uncomfortable experience.
