We discovered the hotel online and thought everything looked magical, so we booked three nights. First of all, the property really does look just like the pictures. Beautiful and charming.
Now to our stay: On the first day, the rather small pool was unfortunately overcrowded. The rooms are simple, as described, but nothing felt particularly new. Not even the air conditioning or the hairdryer, which barely worked for us. The bed was also quite uncomfortable. Breakfast was tasty, but the selection was very limited, usually just one of of fruit for example. It also became clear that the service could use improvement. The staff by the pool seemed overwhelmed, especially with drinks. While the drinks looked great (very Instagram-worthy), they unfortunately didn’t taste like it.
All in all, it’s a wonderful property with lots of potential. However, given the relatively high price, we couldn’t overlook the issues mentioned.
