Venus Playa

Loved this hotel, nothing not to like. Staff are excellent, food superb.. fresh, plentiful and great variety. Room spacious and very clean. Drinks aren’t expensive. Very close to the promenade and beach but hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. If you want a livelier atmosphere head to numerous bars and cafes 5 minutes away. Pool area clean, fabulous pool… there really is nothing negative to say about this hotel. I was a bit nervous as to what to expect as usually stay in at least 4 star hotels abroad, but this is on par, in fact it’s better than most. No carpets make the rooms feel cleaner, floors etc washed daily. Love the decor. Don’t be put off by 3 stars.

We were a group of friends (8 people) for 4 days in this hotel. For our plans, it was simply perfect! What impressed us the most was the "breakfast" from 8 AM to 1:30 PM. Here, you really have the opportunity to have a light breakfast at 8 AM and enjoy coffee, and then later at 12 PM come back for a small lunch. The food selection is large; in the morning, there are baguettes, rolls, toast, cold cuts, cheese, grated tomatoes, hummus, various spreads both savory and sweet, yogurt with toppings, fried eggs, bacon, vegetables, fruit, and whatever else your heart desires. From noon onwards, dishes like burgers, pizza, and pasta are added. Throughout the day, there are coffee variations, water, tea, and juices available. The hotel is quite small, but very nicely designed and appears to be quite new. We found all the rooms great; there is either a pool view or a view of the neighboring area (ocean view not possible, as it is too far away). In addition to the great swimming pool and the dining area (choice between indoors or outdoors), there is also a small fitness room. The room includes shower towels (pool towels can be rented for €20), a hairdryer, a safe, and what we particularly liked: a small refrigerator. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the beach and about 15-20 minutes to the Bierkönig. Small supermarkets and restaurants are within immediate distance. Our recommendation: Tapas at the restaurant "Alaska." The service was excellent; we felt completely comfortable. For example, an external transfer to/from the airport was booked through the hotel (€50 for 7 people). We would book this hotel again for such a vacation at any time! Important information at the end: In our opinion, the hotel is not suitable for partying in the hotel room, as it is rather quiet there and many guests are present who are not only coming for the Ballermann. However, if you are like us and looking for a hotel to feel comfortable in and relax during the day, then leave the hotel to party at night, you are in the right place here!

My husband and I had a great time at this place. We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. All the staff were nice, the breakfast was delicious and varied, and the pool and room were clean. It's a 5-minute walk to the bus stop to Palma, and about 10 minutes to the airport by taxi. This place offers more than we expected for the price. I have stayed at a 4-star hotel in Mallorca before, but the experience here was better this time. I can't wait to stay here again!
