Iberostar Son Antem Golf Resort Spa

The overall property is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Unfortunately, the rooms are extremely poorly soundproofed, which made the stay very disappointing. The rooms appear to be separated by regular connecting doors, meaning you can hear almost every word and noise from the neighboring room. This level of noise is simply unacceptable, especially for a hotel in this price range. We asked to change rooms, but unfortunately our request was not accommodated. The food was also disappointing and not something I would recommend. Overall, while the property itself is nice, the value for money is not right. Due to the noise issues, the lack of support with the room change, and the food quality, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.

Excellent seven-night stay at this upscale, sophisticated resort. My Titanium status was recognized to the fullest extent. Room was well-appointed, and very clean. Beds were insanely comfortable. Sleep quality was good. Staff were generally good. Housekeeping was excellent though...the entire team seemed jolly and very hard-working. Kudos to them for their attentive service. The team in the breakfast area were also very notable. Special thanks to Javier ("Javis")....he came off as a little strict initially but we found he had a heart of gold. He could not have been more professional or more caring. Shout-out to Margarita too...she was unbelievably warm and kind. Her and Javis made an incredible team. Also like to recognize José on the service hotline; Mateo (trainer in the gym), the dutch chef and Irene in the kitchen. All of these people really enhanced our stay. The facilities are good at the hotel but I feel some things could still be improved. There is a massive pool outside but it was closed. I like to swim for exercise but the indoor pool was way too small. The hotel said I could use the pool at the other Marriott property next door for 40 euros a day. This is nonsense. They should work on fixing this. The gym is too small for any real serious work out. I recommend they ;build something outside close to the pool area that is more appropriate. There are plenty of walking trails around the property including two color-coded options. These are confusing though. The hotel doesn't have a map for these...seems like they should...an easy fix. Lastly, breakfast was amazing but the choice was a little boring after seven days. Some of the hot items seemed under-cooked (the bacon) or had a weird taste (the mushrooms) or were just plain bad (the scrambled eggs). I would also liked to see smoked salmon as an option. Overall though we had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return. It would have been different though had we not had a car...we dont play golf!
