Mirador Hotel

A hotel without any sense of coziness at all, very spartan. Small pool on the roof with some sun loungers that were totally okay. The room had a nice bed, very boring bathroom items. There were neither pens nor paper for notes, nor was there a coffee machine. The location is very good with a reasonable distance to Gamla stan. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Wouldn't choose to live here again.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of August. We had a wonderful upgraded room. 901.. fabulous views of themarina, spacious, comfortable and clean. It was quiet and on the same floor as the pool area. We were bed and breakfast. The breakfast selection was lovely and eggs cooked to your choice. Very clean and relaxed outside breakfast area with fabulous views of the marina. All the staff were so friendly and professional. We would definitely stay here again and it was a much needed break after major surgery and cancer treatment.

Before arrival, we called the hotel and were explicitly told that a parent accompanying our under-18 sons at check-in would be fine. Several parents did so. The hotel nevertheless refused check-in. Staff then repeatedly promised a full refund, only to later deny this and rely on an earlier email stating that an adult had to stay for the entire booking. After weeks of arguing, they eventually refunded 50%. We followed the hotel’s instructions, yet they refused the booking, went back on repeated promises of a refund, and then threatened legal action when we said we would share our experience publicly. The entire experience felt deeply misleading and, frankly, like an attempt to make us pay for a situation the hotel itself had created. Avoid this hotel.
