Playa Calamayor

The hotel has excellent location, in the nearest beach location and around the corner there is bus stop. A few meters from the entrance there is a small supermarket. Near restaurants and everything else in the village. A gate would be erected at the bottom of the pool area, to get more or less direct access to the beach, without having to pass reception. Bus 4 runs frequently to Palma and it takes about 20 minutes and costs a few euros. There is a swimming pool which is heated and it is not difficult to get sun loungers. Camps near Palma are convenient. In the middle of the village there is a busy road and there is not much choice of nice restaurants. Relatively empty at the restaurants in general. + - nice staff, - good service, - good breakfast, - fresh hotel room with balcony overlooking the sea, - - the facility needs to be freshened up, the hotel room was renovated and nice but the entrance and common areas need to be renovated in full, as well as the balconies of the hotel rooms, - we need to rent pool towels and pay a deposit, which I have never experienced before, - better activity schedule, very little evening entertainment at the neighboring hotel, - no door to the shower, only to the toilet, - the building looks boring from the outside, - AC worked like that, hard to get it really cold, - hard beds. In conclusion - the location, proximity to the beach and hotel room pulls up the rating, while the revamping need of the building pulls down the rating.

Nice hotel near the beach with a pool, however some renovation work would be welcome (carpet on the floor).

The hotel needs renovation in terms of maintenance; the paint and everything else is outdated. In the afternoon at reception, there is an older lady with white hair who I don't know what she is doing there because any inquiry you make goes unanswered; she doesn't even know if she prepares a sandwich in the cafeteria, and she doesn't bother to look at you when she talks to you and points you to ask at the bar; I don't know. In short, with the people who are unemployed and eager to work, I don't understand what she is doing there.
