Mallorca Palace

We had a fabulous stay, found it good value for money staying half board. The hotel is in a great location easy to get to if you are hiring a car (€10 per day in their secure car park), a short walk to the beach and shopping area. On arrival you find a peaceful and calming atmosphere the staff are always welcoming, friendly, smiling and strive to deliver the best service. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and well maintained, there is a coffee machine with supply of coffee, milk etc and if you want a kettle just ask and they will supply you with one. Had an issue with socket not working near mirror and figured out that you need to switch on the main lighting switch at the entrance door for it to work. The fridge is small so buy the dumpy 1.5ltr bottles and they fit in perfectly. We stayed on the third floor looking over the pools towards the restaurant, being higher up gave us privacy and it was lovely to catch the late afternoon sun from your balcony. Staying half board we found the food and food choices great, the buffet was kept well stocked throughout the breakfast and evening service, great chef cooking eggs in the morning and meat and fish in the evenings. The pool bar food service was also great. The pool area was lovely so well kept and quiet no noisy thudding music all day long so it was great to be able to read a book and listen to my own music. Would be good if there were dedicated smoking/vaping areas away from the restaurant, pool bar and pool area.

This is a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. It exudes tranquility and quality. Spacious, clean rooms equipped with all the amenities. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The location is perfect, close to all amenities and the sea. Yet the hotel is an oasis of tranquility. We will definitely return here.

Wonderful position, public rooms, restaurant, gardens and very pleasant and helpful staff. However my “ five star” room did not come up to standard in my opinion. No comfortable chairs No kettle or tea, just a fancy coffee machine No bathrobe or slippers No bedside plugs, 4 on opposite side of the room Bathroom mirror set too high No turn down service or chocs! The staff rectified some of these things, but I think they should be standard.
