Hotel THB Gran Playa

Checked in at 11pm room 315 the room did not have air conditioning working and smelled like sewage told it was the street but the reception moved us 2 door along air con still not working but doesn’t have the smell this hotel is not a 4 star if anything it’s a 1 star the rooms are worn and very dated due to be moved room tomorrow so will update honestly what I have seen so far it’s not clean hotel curtains smell and are very old in a bathroom had human hair we haven’t used I had to clean the room with wipes it has mold and the shower is in a bathroom tub I had to go to get cleaner it’s totally unacceptable to be sold 4 star when it’s 1 star if you have booked cancel this will save you the headache I’ve had tonight I am looking forward to sharing my videos on Tik Tok and social media and looking forward to meeting the hotel manager Marc tomorrow morning for him to try resolve

I have just returned home from a 4 day break here as it was my first time going solo. The hotel was fantastic for what I needed; quiet around the pool, sunbeds available all day no matter what the time, bar open for snacks and drinks. I didn’t actually have food there at all but there’s a breakfast buffet and evening meals on offer as well as snack bar that does pizzas, burgers and more which looked and smelled fantastic! The hotel is right in the middle of town centre so you have shops, bars and restaurants all around. As well as on the beach front there’s plenty to choose from I.e Jamaican foods, Chinese, Indian local Spanish cuisine. All in all I had a great few nights here and I’d only wish I’d booked longer. I’m already looking to come back in September time for a week. I found there were a lot of solo travellers staying at the hotel which made it easy to get know a few people. Also, the staff were all great and very helpful.

I just returned from a vacation at this hotel; I found it very clean and modern, the room was a good size with a large terrace equipped with a table, chairs, and two sun loungers. A nice big shower in a slightly small bathroom, but clean towels every day; the cleaning lady was very sweet, kind, and always available. The pool is not very big but well-maintained; there is no shortage of sun loungers arranged on two levels if you want to spend some time there, but with such a beautiful sea just a few meters away, it is a shame not to go down to the beach. The restaurant's cuisine was a bit flat in terms of flavor, but all the dining room staff were fantastic, including the chef who was always smiling and kind; a special greeting to the person who receives guests every day at the entrance (maître d'), always with a polite word or a joke. I only regret not having said goodbye to him, but I hope they delivered my note to him. Thank you guys for the company and the affection with which you said goodbye to me. Regarding the hotel's location, I can only say that it is situated in the center of everything you might need, from clubs to shopping and especially the bus stop; with a few euros, you can go on excursions in complete autonomy or go to and from the airport. I recommend it; I liked it a lot.
