Viva Can Picafort

Fantastic stay at the end of August, hotel is approx 1 hour transfer time from the airport, a short walk to beach and a short bus ride to Alcudia. Staff were lovely and welcoming, hotel had lots for children and evening entertainment for all. Our room was huge, and recently refurbished to a high standard, with kettle, fridge and microwave. Beds were made and room cleaned daily. We were in block 4, it was nice and quiet. We stayed all inclusive, it was fabulous. We ate in the American restaurant one night which was ok, but went to the buffet the rest of the holiday, the food was so good, there was so much choice, it was cooked fresh and there was something to please everyone. The drinks menu was also large, a lot of premium branded drinks included and let’s not forget the cocktails, delicious. Overall fantastic, would definitely return.

Really lovely hotel. Relaxed vibe with lots to do if travelling with kids, including a lovely pool area. Good dining experience with 3 restaurants and a buffet restaurant. Accommodation very clean and of a good standard. Complex was kept very tidy and maintained well and felt very safe. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lovely family holiday choice!

The buffet food is what lets this hotel down. It is horrible, and we are not able to eat it. Breakfast is probably the only time it is okay. Lunch and tea isn’t good at all, not even chicken nuggets for the kids every day. Even basic food such as scrambled eggs and steak tastes bad. I really looked into this hotel because I am celiac and need gluten free food, and whilst the labelling is good and the options are good for gluten free the taste isn’t great at all. Paying so much money and being hungry at bed time or having to pay at local restaurants or fast food because we can’t eat makes me disappointed. The room and the grounds beautiful, staff are friendly, clean grounds and lots to do. Great pool areas with a good temp. Salt water pools but that wasn’t a problem. The pool bar has really nice food and yet to try the restaurants so maybe I will have a better experience. I would recommend booking the restaurants.
