We are just back from a week's break and we had a really lovely time. There's a lot to recommend about this hotel and we feel quite certain we will return.
Firstly, the location at the marina is great. The views of the bay and beach and the mountains beyond at Alcudia Port are beautiful and there's a nice gentle sea breeze which was very welcome. The pool is really lovely and right beside the sea. I loved watching the cormorants that line the seawall in the morning. There's steps down into the sea directly from the hotel for a decent swim. We didn't avail of the free paddle boarding or kayaking this time but it's good it is available.
We liked too that it was slightly set back from the town as we appreciate a quieter location, although it was only a few minutes walk to get to shops and restaurants etc. Alcudia old town is only a short bus ride/ taxi drive away and we loved it - so beautiful and I especially enjoyed visiting the Roman archaeological site.
We stayed in a suite and it had everything we needed - nicely designed, good storage and plenty of space to spread out. The balcony was large and quite shaded which again was welcome in the heat with a sun lounger, a hammock and table and chairs. Everything was kept very clean. The only thing we didn't love were the beds which were two singles pushed together and the mattresses were just about ok.
We stayed half board and both breakfast and dinner were good quality and varied. My husband is a vegetarian and there was a decent choice for him. The restaurant has a couple of outdoor areas and in the evening it was particularly pleasant to sit out watching the sunset and the boats in the harbour. It really is such a beautiful place. Good cocktails too and on a few evenings there was live music - mostly pretty decent.
The staff generally were pleasant, efficient and professional. All in all, a very good, relaxing holiday experience for us - our first trip to Mallorca and it has encouraged us to return and perhaps next time see more of the island, although we would still like to base ourselves at this hotel.

Everything was great, nice staff, damn delicious food, beautiful pool area.
Our bathroom is a bit dated; you have to step into the bathtub to take a shower. Certainly a feat of strength for older people.
What bothered us was the reserving of loungers in the pool area. At check-in, we were informed that you are not allowed to reserve loungers. There are also countless signs in the lounger and pool area with the note that you are not allowed to reserve loungers. But unfortunately, this is ignored or not changed by the vacationers and the hotel staff. It was simply ignored. Even at the reception, we were told by the staff: "We are not the police, after all." That really appalled us.
We were not very satisfied with the room cleaning despite regular tips.
The price-performance ratio was therefore not good because of the mentioned shortcomings.

Hotel with a fantastic location. Fin pool, clean and inviting surroundings. Unfortunately, the rest neither holds up for the overall impression nor the price. The room was quite spacious and fresh, good cleaning. Hard beds which have affected sleep quality. In the room there was a welcome gift with three coffee capsules, three tea bags and two half-liter bottles of water. If one wanted more, a coffee capsule or teabag cost 0.50 euros. Drinking water cost 3.40 euros for delivery to the room and 3.90 euros at the restaurant for half a liter, which amounts to around 13-15 euros per day for one person if you want to meet the minimum daily need for drinking water. Quite good breakfast, something worse than the mediocre evening buffet.
Did not experience a welcoming atmosphere. No one showed up or offered help with the luggage. The hotel is decorated with prohibition signs right from the entrance. Signs with information in text and pictures about what you are forbidden to do, walk, drink, use etc. as well as what guests are obliged to do. The staff are seemingly nice as long as you pay and "like the situation." When questions, opinions, or complaints were directly rejected with reference to "bad English" or with an invitation to go out and meet their needs, for example, to buy water at the store or eat dinner out if one does not have long pants. No confirmation, no excuses even for obvious mistakes. Long trousers for men at dinner in the buffet restaurant are the sacred rule "written in the hotel brochure," but it has nothing to do with our clothing standards since any long trousers would do (sweatpants, jeans rolled up to the knee) and combined with flip-flops. A rather boring stay if you would prefer to spend the day at the hotel. Almost no activities, no music or genuine joy to permeate the place.
Nice but boring, rigid, and unwelcoming.
