Vistalmar Mallorca Apartamentos

We have stayed in Apartamentos Vista al Mar for 4 nights and it was a pleasant stay. Apertments are located in new part of the village, about 150 m from the harbour. They are part of Hostal MarBlau, where the reception is located. (about 50 meters away same building where supermarket Spar is). To check in you will have to go there. The apartment building has no extra amenities, just apartments. Our apartment was spacious with bedrooms and living room with kitchenette. The equipment is clean but outdated, we had mixer, coffee maker and juicer besides standard appliances in our kitchen. There is plenty of plates and kitchen ware for comfortable cooking. We had 2 single beds witch were just ok. Each room has medium size balcony where you can sit or dine. So overall its quite ok, but there are few things which we did not like. 1) The apartment was not bike friendly - we were asked to lock our bikes on the street first, but could leave them on the entrance after explaining. Still I was worried every night with no reception in the building and door always open 2) There was no dish soap nor extra garbage bags 3) Cleaning was only after 5 days , which would be fine if you had place to store garbage 4) Not too many services

Very clean, very spacious apartment: the place was about the same size as my flat back home, with two balconies to boot - great for sitting out in the evening! I don't think I've ever had such a large apartment for the price I paid! It was like a home away from home, with everything we needed for our holiday. Really appreciated the 'welcome' bottle of water too. The staff were really helpful and gave us a map and some good tips on places to visit in the area. They were also very quick to respond when we had a problem (thought that one of the fans didn't work, but in reality we just hadn't found the right switch to operate it!) One small criticism would be the lack of air conditioning - the ceiling fans did help with the heat, but not quite enough to ensure a comfortable night's sleep when the outdoor temperature was 23C... The apartments are conveniently located within the town - just a short walk away from the picturesque port area and all the waterside restaurants. Though you can tend to hear your neighbours in the other apartments a bit, this wasn't much of a problem. IN any case, Cala Figuera isn't the sort of place to appeal to the party crowd so I doubt there'd be many problems on that front. Cala Figuera is a lovely place to stay. However, I would strongly recommend hiring a car if you plan to stay here as there isn't all that much to do in the town itself - though that does mean it's relatively free of tourist hordes! All in all, we had a great holiday here and I'd be happy to recommend Apartamentos Vistalmar to anyone - I'd definitely stay there again myself if I went back to Mallorca!

Wow!! First, Cala Figuera is the perfect location to visit mallorca. Second, the Vista al mar apartments are perfect for your trip. They're cute, they have a small terrace, everything of interest is close by feet. The people at the front desk are really helpful. We had a problem to go to the airport and they helped me with it. I definitely want to go back!!
