Club Ciudadela

Stayed as a couple for 12 nights in September. The staff and owners Martine and Amandine were fantastic and nothing too much trouble. Fantastic location,peaceful and 5 minutes walk to beaches and Marina. Accommodation was excellent. We willdefinitely return and cannot recommend this place highly enough. Club Ciudadela like many other places has pros and cons, the place itself is clean and tidy, round the pool is spotless, the rooms were basic but again spotless. The room we stayed in was in the 3rd floor with a large balcony with two sunbed, it also had a table and chairs. The room had everything we needed for a short break however if you plan on using this as a self catering holiday please be aware that the kitchens although clean are in need of an update and are dated. If you are obsessed with someone coming in and cleaning and tidying up your mess everyday then that doesn’t happen here it’s every other day. The bathroom again is basic but fitted with a hairdryer and the shower is hot and powerful. The shower is provided with only a curtain and even with a small mat provided the floor can be extremely slippy so be careful. There are no lifts so if you are unable to climb stairs or lift your luggage I would try and request a lower room, stairs aren’t steep but something to be mindful of. We stayed bed and breakfast and if to stay again wouldn’t pay any extra for this as it was very basic and same every day. The selection of warm food was scrambled eggs, small chorizo style sausages, boiled eggs. It was warm at best. Selection of breads and croissants and a small selection of fruit. The apartments themselves are a two minute walk to the supermarket there is a shortcut opposite side to the reception that comes out the side of the supermarket. It only a 5 minute walk if that too the beach which is one of the best beaches I have been too, and the harbour for lots of places to eat. All in all it was a pleasurable stay, basic, clean and good for a base to see the area. Bus stop also just outside to take you wherever you want to go.

6 days into our two week holiday and very very pleased so far. This may not suit everyone as it is extremely quiet here but that's how we like it. No music blasting anywhere just the breeze and wood pigeons. Our room is the loft apartment 3rd floor so stairs only,be warned if you have walking difficulties. It's huge with a full kitchen,two balconies plus sun loungers, walkin shower, flat screen TV but no air conditioning. 3 huge isolating fans are provided though and they are perfect. We had the breakfast which was spot on at €13 each but within walking distance are 2 well stocked supermarkets. The pool is lovely and plenty of sunbeds always to relax on. This set of apartments are hidden gems so I really shouldn't of said anything about them. They are also situated literally 5 minutes walk from the main hub of Cala en Bosch what more could you want. 10/10 from us in every aspect we will be back💯🌞🏖️🍺.
