We’ve come back to the hotel again for a second time, we stayed all inclusive mainly for drinks. The hotel itself is lovely it’s in a great location with fabulous view, most of the staff are great with the odd exception. The pool area is very clean and well maintained although the pool could do with a good clean, it is tiny for the number of guests in the hotel it could easily be doubled to deal with the demand. The only downside to the pool area is the “No sun bed reservations” which is a rule that is place, but they don’t enforce which is annoying. The room is good; air con works well, I found the beds comfortable but my wife found them too hard. The lifts… The lifts seem to have a mind of their own and work when they want to! There seems to be a problem with them nearly everyday. The food I have to say is the worst part of the hotel, it’s not labelled most of the time and to be honest it’s not particularly nice. I’ve stayed in various all inclusive’s and this is low on the list food wise. But it doesn’t really matter as around the marina there’s loads of restaurants and places to eat many of which are fabulous! The entertainment starts at 10 PM which I thought was a little late personally. It has a lovely atmosphere, the day entertainment team come around as ask if you want to get involved but don’t pressure you, unlike other places! Value wise I can’t complain it’s not perfect but I’d come back again. A few little tweaks and it could be a cracking hotel.

This was our First time staying in cala'n'bosch. Second in menorca itself. First impressions were good, friendly staff on reception and clean.
The location is great we had a lovely white sandy beach with turquoise water which was really busy as expected for the time of year and the harbour nearby which is absolutely stunning in the evening. Everything you need close by.
Hotel atmosphere is great really relaxed vibe. Especially enjoyed the yoga in the mornings with the lovely animation team.
Our Room was on the 5th floor which had amazing sea and land views and was really clean. The air con in the room needs updating and the water took a while to heat up for a shower but with the 34° degrees heat it was nice to get a cold shower anyway. Tea and coffee making facilities in room not topped up so had to go down to pool bar for a coffee. The last night there was no drinking water left at the bars so we had to buy from the vending machine when considering you've paid for all inclusive you'd think you'd always be able to get water especially in 30+ degrees heat.
We found a last minute deal on Tui so the price reflected the hotel however I think if we'd have paid the full £2,200 for 5 nights we would have been disappointed as the Dinners most nights were disappointing. Pretty much the same meals daily and by day 4 we did found ourselves bored of eating and wish we'd have gone BnB as there are some lovely places to eat at the harbour. It seemed like leftovers were made to look pleasing but didn't taste great, Im far from a fussy eater but struggled some nights to make a substantial meal Id enjoy. The pizzas were great though when enough of them were put out. The young guy on the pasta deli needs training on cross contamination as he didn't clean the pans after use as he was making spaghetti for me and a vegetarian there was still left over ravioli in the pan and when I politely said this lady is vegetarian and the ravioli contains meat he just replied "I know you want spaghetti" as the sauce was running low he just added tap water to the saucepan so it was very watery, and he then hit the pasta spoon on the side of the dirty bin and straight away continued to stir our pasta with the same spoon, this actually made me feel really sick so I just left it as he didn't seem to understand me and had the pizza again for the 3rd night, as the salad bar seemed to have flies crawling over it.
Cleanliness was 4/5 nice and well maintained, some plates and cups were dirty at meal times. But the tables were always cleaned promptly by the friendly waiting on staff who seem to be doing multiple jobs throughout the day. The lifeguards were also waiting on which make me think there were staff shortages.
As we were late arriving at 2pm there were no sunbeds as most seemed to be reserved with towels but not many guests actually using them, this became a trend and unless you were out reserving them in the morning there weren't enough sunbeds for the guests come 10:30am.

We returned to Cala n Bosch over 20 years since we first visited with our children, when we stayed at the Marina Appartments, which in now Carmelo.
We were unsure whether we would love the place as much this time round, with just my husband and I. Well it was fantastic!! The hotel was lovely, food great and the staff were all excellent.
We would especially like to thank Paula who led the animation team. She was so friendly and enthusiastic, we are both over 60 and loved the fact that she took time to speak to us every time she saw us.
So, thank you everyone for a wonderful holiday and we hope to come back again soon, although might make it June when it's not quite as hot!!
