Marinda Garden

The hotel was ok Aqua park was a better pool. Entertainment team made the stay 100%. Noelia was fantastic. Along with kuba. Food awful. Dirty plates, cups, glasses everyday. We ate out alot and this was an all inclusive. Looking at next year's prices definitely wouldn't pay it. Did not find it an amazing time at marinda Gardens im sorry. Cala en bosch was a lovely place and would go back to that area.

Just home after a 2 week stay. We had a standard room which was certainly big enough for 4 (2 adults, 2 teens). Kids took the bedroom we used the sofa bed. It’s comfy enough but couldn’t have managed a 3rd week! Bedroom was enormous. Bathroom looked to have been recently refurbished and was great. Big shower with great water pressure. TVs set up to take stream sticks so feel free to bring your Netflix etc if that’s your thing. Front door didn’t quite meet the frame which cased some light to creep its way in but was not much of an issue. Didn’t have any issue with bugs/rodents etc and the place was spotless. No matter the time of day someone is cleaning something! Most standard rooms seem to have a cordoned off space outside but ours didn’t. This resulted in 1 of our chairs being “misappropriated” but we got it back after a few days. I like to sit outside between shower & dinner but felt in the way of kids having water fights & playing football so didn’t bother after but that was a quirk of not having a marked out space. Not a huge issue & wouldn’t affect anyone not in our apartment. If I were to go back though, I would look for a garden terrace or balcony. Food is plentiful, varied, cooked well & tasty. Always something for everyone at our table! Pool area is spotless & no matter what time we went, we found sun-beds. If there was no parasol, we asked the lifeguard & he went to his “magic storeroom” & came back with one. The water park is lovely, great sized pool, scary slides (for me!) wave pool, toddler space & karting. Didn’t go to the entertainment too much, but what we saw was really good - especially the South African lady singer. One for the teens - WiFi is really good & stable. The staff here are actually in a league of their own in regards to their enthusiasm, friendliness & willingness to help with whatever they can. Lady doing the boxercise & yoga - boy wish she came home with me! Things to do outside- Fiesta Mexican restaurant in the Marina is fantastic- great food & friendly staff. For an evening of fun & craic you can’t go wring with Chaplins Bar also in the marina. The staff there like to enjoy their work & ensure that you are along for the ride! Trips into Mahon & Ciutadella are easy to navigate with an excellent bus service. The 65 into ciutadella & from there take the 01 (regular route) or the 14 (express route) into Mahon. All in all a great holiday would recommend.

Holiday started off with a delay with BA nearly 6 hours so got into hotel much later than we thought not much food left out grabbed an Apple thank god I brought pot noodles Rooms we had a deluxe room which the room is the reason we booked rooms are ok a bit tired here and there our shower wasn’t working on 1st day someone came out fixed within 20mims but the shower head they replaced didn’t fit correctly and kept falling off and hitting us the water pressure in bathroom was really poor for washing hands but we did spend a good bit of time in room due to the heat some days air con was ok but had better Food We don’t really like the food so we ate out everyday plus trying to get a table is hard especially on our second week Pool bar is where we spent a lot of our time and sitting by the pool the pool bar could do with been cleaned more it really was something that annoyed me I saw spilt food and it sat there for hours I would say most of the day you help yourself to drinks which is good snack bar oprions are ok didn’t mind the hotdogs when you asked for chips one day my daughter for 4 chips not sure of running low on chips but 4 the pool entertainment I joined in in the aqua pool stuff which was good and cocktail making Staff amazing staff they work so hard and Laura and Pol and some of the others can’t mind their names worked so hard one night there was a bit of trouble and I saw the bar guy try to defuse it that’s not his job felt bad there should be security on at night this is the first hotel I have been too in a while with no security Entertainment wasn’t for us got an older teenager enjoyed the quiz nights but if you want a seat you need to be back before 8:30 seating wasn’t an issue on our first week but second week we struggled to get seats. Overall we had a nice holiday would I come back no and that’s just our opinion usually got for 4 star we felt the difference but that’s not to say it’s not a good 3 star just wasn’t for us Thank you to alll the staff you guys deserve the credit
