Barcelo Hamilton Menorca

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is extremely clean. We only had bed and breakfast but the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are well laid out with a fabulous view towards the sea. The rooftop solarium and bar are very nice. The only downside for us was the pool. Not enough sunbeds, not enough sunshine and feeling enclosed. Overall though, we would stay there again

Overall a fabulous hotel, views are amazing, rooms immaculate & cleaned everyday. Great restaurants & bars to walk to in the evenings. For us however, four friends, we could never get a sunbed by the pool. The pictures of the pool area are misleading, it is very small & quite oppressive, as hotel rooms are built around it. People were putting towels on sunbeds as early as 7 am so if you wait til after breakfast there are none left. Also, there are 'day' beds that can be purchased. The week we were there, they were not used. The hotel could easily have put 6 additional sunbeds in these spaces. The week we were there it was very windy and the roof terrace was closed meaning more people were unable to relax by the pool. Also, if you are not all inclusive, the prices are very high for basic drinks like water. Having said all this, we found a lovely cove about 15 minutes right from the hotel and went there most days and also took a taxi to a nearby beach. The staff, particularly Naomi, were wonderful. Would we stay again, yes, because overall we loved everything else about it!

Great hotel. Staff are amazing. Food is very good. Rooms facing the sea are great. Very easy to get to from the airport. Local people are very friendly.
