Got to say, what a fantastic holiday. Me and my husband (35 & 40) went away with out the children for a break just the two of us. We picked this hotel because I was on a strip, it had views either side no matter what room you were out in. And it was spectacular. When we arrived, we got there at 1pm, from Murcia airport, we were given our all inclusive wrist band, and we could put our luggage in the lockable room in reception so we didn’t have to carry it around. We then wandered to the beach on the Menor side, and I have got to say, my husband is not a sea/getting wet kind of person, but it was fantastic. It was warm, no waves and you could swim with the fish, and were able to walk quite far out and it was still at your knees the whole way. Once it hit 3pm we went up to our room, 131 with a terrace, you had sun lounges, walk in shower and quite a big room, but enough space for both of us! Kettle, fridge , air condition, black out curtains and coffee maker. Towels provided, spare pillows and also some single duvets. No complaints from us regarding the room. The food :) breakfast was great, my only downfall was there wasn’t a potato product, like hasbrowns or anything to have with your fry up so to speak, lunch was great! And I must admit, sometimes I actually preferred the food at lunch than dinner, good selection, and as we went in September it wasn’t busy, so there was plenty of room to sit. We actually tried to always sit down by the windows and dinner time due to being able to see the sunset happen beyond the Mountain View. The facilities, we didn’t actually use the swimming pool, but it had a small pool that we saw toddlers in and a bigger pool for the more able swimmers. Plenty of sun beds available :) we spent most of our 4 nights on the beach subbed, as we much preferred the warmth of the sea than the pool! Perfect again, no sun bed wars at all. They did have a games room, 6 pool tables which we used in the evening, and plenty of activities in the evening, which we didn’t hear too much once going to bed. We went on the 44 bus, and went down to La Manga for a walk around, there wasn’t much open due to being out of season, but there was a lot of small shops with the normal souvenirs etc. so we kept walking towards the hotel, which would of been about 30/40 minute walk from where we were dropped off by bus (€1.15 per person) and then decided it was a bit too hot and not enough open to warrant keep walking up the strip. Overall, this was a brilliant stay, and we will be booking again for next may and take the kids because we enjoyed it so much. And they have interconnecting rooms aswell. If you do stay the only thing I would say is make sure you go to reception and pre-book your taxi to get back to the airport, don’t do it the morning off. We had a private transfer booked when we went through on the beach, but a couple that were also trying to get to the airport (Alicante) for there flight didn’t have one. And we asked if the taxi driver would allow them to get in with us to Murcia airport so they could get a taxi from there, which he did allow.

I recommend it 100%. Delighted with the place, staff, and facilities. Lots of tranquility, relaxation. Our experience has been very satisfactory.

My wife and I had a weekend at the hotel from 18th -20th September, for our anniversary. Overall a nice experience. Great location, nice friendly staff. Nice room with a fabulous view. Quality and variety of drinks was very good with a few branded drinks available on the a/I. The one big let down was the restaurant. Not so much the quality of food, which was decent, but the temperature, stone cold, especially at breakfast, due to inadequate heat lighting. When I say stone cold, I Mean, stone cold. This is not acceptable for a 4* hotel and needs immediate attention, especially as the majority of clients are a/I. Would we return. Yes, if the food situation was sorted.
