Hotel Spa Torre Pacheco

Where do I start? We pull up in the taxi and the hotel seems fairly new and quite clean. Thats it. The only positive part of the holiday. We had to wait an hour and a half to check in because the "room was being cleaned" to look behind the reception and find the cleaner having a leisurely lunch (we arrived at 5pm!). Once the receptionist had to run around and sort this out (clearly they're not used to people complaining) we eventually got into our room. Room was large with big bathroom and air con with a view of the road. Dinner was ridiculous as we had been told it was at 8.30 to find they serve dinner at 9.30. Barley anything to eat but finding a creamy mushroom dish seemed promising until we actually took a bite. Tasted like dish water. Don't eat anything with milk or what seems to be a creamy sauce. If you're a coffee lover, bring your own as whatever powdered milk they use in the coffee machine is vile. Breakfast was plain, but dinner is when the entertainment starts. Not enough seating for all so people stand and wait for you to finish, food isn't enough for everyone and to top it off there are only 3 staff to cater for over 100 people. So don't expect a drink! Pool is ok if you like the local children screaming and diving around you. No consideration for others let alone an understanding of special awareness. Don't expect the parents to speak to them, they're just as bad. We thought of a bright idea by going into the spa (to get away from the nightmare children) to find it packed with children diving into a jacuzzi. Wonderful. Just what you need when you want to relax. All in all this has been the worst holiday we've ever had!

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and 2 of the nights we where kept awake by Juveniles running and shouting all night in the corridors. There where 2 coaches (1 team of males and the other females) of junior football teams staying at the hotel. On the first night we rang reception to complain but nothing was done about the noise. We called into see reception the day after to explain of our lack of sleep due to the noise. The same happen the next evening but fortunately the noise ended at 2 in the morning, again we complain but no apology from receptionist. The third night was heaven no noise the teams had checked out. When we came to check out I explain that of the 3 nights we had stayed the hotel we only had 1 good nights sleep, on which the receptionist said thanks for the feedback and they would ensure that they would learn from our feedback! I would have expected an apology or even a reduced rate but this was not offered....hey lesson learned we will not stop here again and advise other people to avoid stopping at this hotel if this is how they treat paying customers.

OMG we booked in to the Spa????? Really spa was closed and dirty but what came next was incredible We deposited our money in the safe €1000 and secured it on our return it was gone with jewellery? They were so guilty that the police stated this has happened too many times,,, Thanks for the heads up All staff were at it and please don't ever stay here
