Hotel La Joyosa Guarda

We stayed just one night on a visit to Olite and were very impressed with the large room, comfy bed and the really good sound-proofing. The shower was great and the towel rail really hot! Pleasant welcome and a nice breakfast.

We stayed here for two nights in early September, and enjoyed our stay. It's located about a two minute walk from the main square on a narrow road. Parking can be reserved in the garage to the left of the front door- but if you've got a large car you will struggle to get in here (probably park a bit further away and walk in)! The room was a decent size, we got one on the top floor, and whilst it didn't have a balcony, it had two large skylights which meant the room was very light, and also had a large bathroom.

Lovely hotel in the centre of town, two hundred meters from the town square. Friendly, helpful staff, all with good English language and plenty of local knowledge and good advice. A couple of points to bear in mind. The hotel is located halfway along a very narrow, one way, dead-end street. Parking is available but access is not particularly easy and unless you're a confident and capable driver I'd recommend parking on the free car park behind the Church. Done let this put you off as I greatly enjoyed my stay. The restaurant is good with traditional recipes made from locally sourced ingredients. Rooms are clean, quiet, and to a high standard. Air-con and nicely appointed bathrooms are standard, I had a balcony overlooking an inner courtyard which felt cool on the hot summers evenings. Even though this was a short notice in and out business trip I'd highly recommend it.
