Gran Duque

We were there from June 21 to 30, my husband, my 10-year-old granddaughter, and I, and honestly, the hotel and the rooms are fine, the pools are also good, but getting a lounge chair is horrible, no matter the time because it is impossible. Then, on the first day we arrived, since we got all-inclusive, we went to the bar to ask where we could get food for my granddaughter, and a waiter responded very poorly and disrespectfully. Then we went to the buffet, and everything was without refrigerators, the cold cuts were spoiled from the heat and dirty, honestly, it made you lose your appetite, and it was uncovered. Then we ordered mojitos, and instead of putting crushed ice, they gave us two ice cubes, and it was very strong, terrible. Speaking of the dining room, it was chaotic; they gave us lunch at 2:00 PM and dinner at 9:00 PM, and getting a table was madness, and the buffet was empty, the food was not varied, many times we left without eating. Honestly, we will not return; it was a terrible experience, and I feel bad for the money we lost because we did not enjoy anything.

Every year we go to some hotel with an all-inclusive plan, so my assessment highlights the points that distinguish it from other similar hotels in Spain. The best thing about the hotel is undoubtedly the ultra all-inclusive option that offers you multiple leisure options at no cost and allows you to skip lines at some bars, attractions, etc. The bottled drinks are top brands, including Amstel beer and Heineken, and PepsiCo brand soft drinks. The soundproofing of the room is very good; you do not hear the neighbor during normal use. On the contrary, the worst thing about the hotel is the limited variety and selection of the buffet, and the lack of nighttime entertainment, where you either go to the Palacio d'or when it is open or it is basically background music with no additional performances or entertainment.
