Casa Del Abad De Ampudia

The hotel is very pleasant and charming, with spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms. The food, on the contrary, is not at all up to the level of the hotel; breakfast is very poor and extremely poorly organized and confusing, there are things everywhere, a lack of space when there is a huge room right next door that would be idyllic for breakfasts, the quality of the buffet products is very, very poor, the coffee machines are a joke (small Nespresso) that didn't work well and there are no capsules, there is no this or that 🤨!!! The food at the “restaurants” is very disappointing with a menu that is incomprehensible!!! They put white ham (the same as at breakfast) of poor quality on the cold cut board and cheese board with sliced cheese from breakfast!!! For a hotel that claims to be of caliber, the level of food is absolutely terrible; they cut back on the quality of the products with the idea of saving, I suppose, but there is a serious lack of judgment regarding the expectations of the clientele that goes to a hotel like this. We waited 10 minutes upon arrival for someone to come and open the door and the lady didn't even apologize, and no one was at reception to check out, waiting again and I had to go look for someone in the hotel, there were 3 other people waiting to check out!! Thank goodness there is another place in town that is decent (El Olivo).

Unacceptable. We were advised to make a reservation. At the time, we showed up, and no one helped us. The diners seated gave us a negative opinion of the food. After 20 minutes without service, we left

Charming staff in a place with a special charm. Unbeatable treatment. We had a very pleasant family weekend in one of the most beautiful towns in Spain.
