Booked our apartment through airbnb. It was fairly last minute so not sure what to expect. The apartment location is about a 10 minute walk downhill to the sea (very steep in places so not suitable for very young children or people not used to walking). Beautiful views set in peaceful countryside away from the busy main road. Private parking area and play park for children right outside. Lovely swimming pool and bbq's. There are about 8 apartments in the block and over our 8 day stay it never felt full and the pool was never very crowded...we mostly had it to ourselves. There is a terrace overlooking the pool and adjacent to the bbq area which is ideal for eating in the open air when it's warm. The apartment itself was ok...nothing special but as a holiday base there was no problem....hot showers, clean drinkable water, basic equipment. The owners put an extra bed into the double room for us so that our 3 children were in a bedroom and we didn't have to use the sofa bed. On our penultimate night the bed leg fell off (wood worm!) but a quick word the next day and the bed was changed immediately. The owner recommended the local beach Praia Sameiera which was beautifully clean and sparkly....shade from trees as well....very safe for children, calm and clear waters with fish to look at when snorkelling. Also a 15 minute walk away were los molinos- a beautiful woodland waterway walk (Good shoes recommended) geocaching here too. The owner also brought in mussels for free one night which had been caught locally... very friendly, very spanish. You would need a car if staying here as there are no big supermarkets or convenience stores nearby. There is a Lidl about 20 minutes drive away in Sanxenxo.

We stayed here recently for 9 nights, we were disappointed to find the apartment was smaller and in a worse condition than the pictures in the AirBnb listing. The apartment was very noisy, no soundproofing at all, could hear all the neighbours conversations. For the price the apartments should be a lot better. The only good thing is the pool.
