Hostal Concejo

The hostel is pretty good. Very central, next to Plaza Mayor. My room was exterior and overlooked a square with bars so I heard noise at night. I was able to sleep without problems, but already that depends on each person. They also have interior rooms that I guess will be quieter. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and with what you need. I had no problem with the mattress or pillow, they were to my taste. I'm talking about room 202. 201, which was the one my friend was given, has nothing to do with it. Extremely small, with little space at the sides of the bed, you can hardly move around and with an elongated, narrow toilet with bathtub. Both for the same price. We complained at reception, but they couldn't change it. You have to throw the keys from inside because the door stays open and can be opened from outside. The reception was correct. Talking about my experience and how it was my repeating room, making sure I didn't get 201!!!

Very bad experience. My husband had to go twice to the hospital in the 5 days before the trip and the days before many (cardiological) tests, we did not even remember the trip. Both Renfe and tickets we had taken have returned the amounts once the medical reports have been attached. From Booking we were told that the Hostel could also return it (to their judgment) but from the Hostel without any empathy they blamed Booking and did not return even a part. We know you've lost a night, but considering it's always complete and this is extraordinary and we have the medical papers, you could have put them in our place. Also my sister needs to use sometimes wheelchair and very edge told her that on the first floor she could not stay because there were very small and that the elevator was narrow to know if the folded chair could fit (we doubt much or for that reason), and that they would not keep it at reception. All like that. We didn't make anything up. So no, I do not recommend this property in any case, there are many central places to stay in Salamanca with more empathy. We're just hoping that you don't have to use that money that you've been wanting so badly, the same way that my husband and I had to use it this past week. Greetings

Very comfortable access, we walk from the station comfortably. The spacious, bright and well-ventilated room. Very friendly and located attention to know everything walking. While central, it is quiet at night, and has various shops nearby including supermarkets. I recommend it.
