AACR Museo

Hotel air conditioning is broken. Notified on day one. Moved to an apartment hotel, without a pool and no breakfast, which had already been paid for, no consideration given, even upon request. Avoid at all costs, no understanding on their part. Refund request to be determined.

The room was a bit "dated" but, listen to this, there was a bidet in the bathroom, which earns at least one point!! Safe, TV, fridge, air conditioning, balcony. We did not try the breakfast, which cost 12.50 euros per person. The location is optimal. We walked to Alcazar, Cathedral, Triana, Torre del Oro, Plaza de España, etc. Behind the hotel, less than 10 minutes away, there is the bus station and the main lines to reach the surroundings and the airport.

Located on the edge of the historic center, a stone’s throw from the Museum of Fine Arts, the bus station (including the airport bus) and a bridge leading to the friendly Triana district, I found this hotel perfect for a car-free stay. The responsiveness at the time of booking is excellent, the on-site welcome, professional. The room with balcony that I occupied was large and convenient, as was the bathroom, all impeccable cleanliness. The buffet breakfast is classic, the Spanish touch mainly brought by tortilla, chorizo, raw ham and cheese as well as, on weekends – I regretted that it was only the weekend! – Andalusian specialities such as the delicious traditional pastries of the house Inés Rosales or artisanal cold cuts (pringá, manteca de lomo...). As for the rooftop pool, don’t expect a large pool! And in October at least – despite the summer heat – it was only accessible on weekends.
