Castellar apartments

The apartment was clean and lived up to expectations. It is within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The only draw back is that we got lost every time we returned. All the roads look the same and it did take some time to get your bearings. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Adrian at the reception office was really helpful when checking in. The apartment building was not easy to find: if you are in a rush a smartphone with a map app is recommended. The apartment itself (San Luis) was more than enough, with a spacious bathroom, well equipped kitchen and living room, massively high ceilings and a comfortable bed. Noise from the street was noticable at times (especially people with luggage early in the morning). One thing I didn't find was a tea towel in the kitchen - this would have been useful. Another suggestion would be a "pass it along" box for laundry detergent, and other essentials. The apartment's location is within walking distance of the city's main attractions and there are plenty of supermarkets, cafes, bars and other shops in the vicinity too. Definitely worth considering.

The apartment was larger than expected and quiet and cool considering the high temperatures. Great location near plenty of Tapas bars for evening or lunch but not too far 20 mins walk to the centre for Cathedral, shops & restaurants. I would recommend and staff at the office very helpful too.
