Hotel Alabardero

This hotel is not up to the four star standard it advertised itself to be. It has rooms that have seen better days in that maintenance has not been carried out for a long time. The furniture is supposed to be vintage but it just looks cheap and scruffy. There was a patch of rust around the bath drain. No tissues in the bathroom and no duvet on the bed, though there were two blankets put away. The lift was out of order and the steps are very steep, room was two floors up.

The room is small and the bathroom dirty. Hair in bed. The worst thing is that in the morning when the restaurant employees arrive they take coffee on the patio with no respect for the guests. We paid 3 nights and stayed 2 following an error on our part. A commercial gesture would have been a minimum. Seville is lost in mass tourism.

Excellent dinner in a very nice setting. The service is exceptional (efficiency and smile!) The dishes arrived quickly and perfectly met my expectations. Rates are more than reasonable for such quality. I highly recommend you stop there!
