Pleasant, rather quiet neighborhood. The hotel is very beautiful in terms of the entrance hall and common areas. On the other hand, the room is disappointing: very impersonal, no decoration, the bathroom has mold on the bathtub, a broken towel rack... not up to the price.

Stayed in this hotel as part of an Intrepid tour. First the positives: it is well located, easy walking to Santa Cruz, the cathedral and the river, also very close to major shopping. It has a very charming reception area with a lovely internal courtyard. The reception and our room smelled beautiful, orange and cinnamon, and the shower gel was beautiful. Now the negatives: the gorgeous smell was masking the smell of the mould. After we left and I unpacked, items that were hung in the wardrobe stunk of mould. The room was full of bugs. They looked like a small house fly. Reception claimed to have no bug spray but said it was a Spanish thing and everyone has bugs. Our room had a door to an outdoor courtyard that was unused except for storage of a filthy ladder. Bits and pieces were broken in the bathroom and the toilet brush was sitting in dirty water. Although our bed was made, I don’t believe any other cleaning was done as the rubbish that was there when we arrived was still there when we left.

Nice pretty lobby, friendly staff, decent location near center. However absolutely not worth the 250€ I paid for two nights (cheapest available hotel in the center due to Labour Day weekend). Very dark, dated bedroom decor. Broken fire exit sign within my room above the door blaring a bright green light at me all night causing me to not get any sleep. Super bright white bulb in lamp over bed, need a warm white tone for comfort and to allow relaxation. Heard a cleaner downstairs at 2am on Friday 1st May making so much echoey noise which again kept me up. Was woken up at 6/7am by my neighbours alarm who slept through it for 5 minutes because the walls are that ridiculously thin. Bathroom had a horrible musty sewage smell due to the sink being blocked and taking 10 mins to drain each time I turned the tap on. Also plenty of mould on bathroom ceiling. Very poor ventilation and unsafe for health. Have to return key to reception every time you step out the hotel which I have never experienced before and did not feel safe doing this as a solo female traveler but had to as per the hotel rules. I unfortunately did not take any pictures of the mould or sink etc as I was so irritated but really wanted to focus on still having a decent time in Seville. Do not stay here if you are a light sleeper and care about receiving a stay worth the value of your money.
