Hotel Esmeralda

I have previously made an opinion but I want to upload some pictures of some workers that I did not upload and I can not fail to highlight the quality and attention of the services of Rosa Maria that met all our needs and an incredible treatment . Not excluding the others and in particular also Tania.

Stayed here for one night in Dec 2016. Parking in garage next door if required, costs 5 EUR extra. Some staff speak English, some do not. Man who checked us in showed us up to room. Room reasonable size, twin beds reasonably comfortable. Room cold. Had difficulties getting heater working. Made a lot of noise so could not have on all night. Woke cold during night. Bathroom also cold, had no heating. No ventilation, only window. TV on desk on one side of room, had to sit sideways on bed to watch. Wifi did not work in room, had to go to end of corridor. - Passageways v ornate, fountain in middle. Breakfast basic - hot drink of choice and warm roll with butter and jam. Was v nice bread but some might require more choice. Smelt of smoke in reception/breakfast area. Reasonable value for one overnight stop. Would stay elsewhere if returning to the area.

We booked this hotel for a one night stay to break our journey from Murcia to Portugal. The hotel was centrally located and very clean and comfortable. The owners recommended we eat at El Molinillo on the main square and we had a fantastic meal there. Next morning, my husband realised he had left his sunglasses there so the owner, being a friend of the restaurant owner, rang him and made arrangements for us to pick them up at midday. In the meantime, the owner said we could leave our car in the garage until we had picked up the glasses. All went to plan and we got the glasses back. Could not recommend the owners more - although a knowledge of Spanish is probably advisable. Great breakfast and extremely reasonable price. Muchas graçias!!
