Casa De Carmona

Very unpleasant experience!! We visited it a few years ago. I was so looking forward to visit the inviting palace in the beautiful Carmona village. BUT…. Roaches everywhere…. and no water in the room! We woke up and had to wait 3 hrs to shower! Definitely not what you expect from a 200+ euro / night room. Too bad, as the palace is very nice and has a grandeur to it, but it requires some serious renovation. I will always remember it as a “false advertising” case, and as a joke😁 we shared with the kids

Lovingly restored building that as far as comfort and looks were concerned were perfect. Service however left a lot to be desired. We were unable to get a glass of wine or even water with ice to drink by the pool. The breakfast prices were astronomical and staff seemed to be non existent. Perhaps there would be more staff providing a better service at a busier time of year. We only saw two other guests during our stay.

Dear Manager, I would like to tell you about my stay. I stayed Saturday evening and left Sunday. I booked using booking.com and did ask the hotel a question 3 times no one replied. When I arrived the car space I had booked wasn’t free so I had to drive around looking for a space a bit disappointing. The check in wasn’t very welcoming at all I wasn’t told anything restaurant time’s breakfast times and want made to feel at all welcome. On entering the room was pleasantly surprised as very pretty but unfortunately very dirty the floor and rugs were filthy which was very disappointing as I paid €175 Smelt damp and generally unloved. I visit lots of period hotels and your hotel was certainly lacking love. The breakfast waitress had no manner and the breakfast was awful, even cold coffee, not a clean table to sit at and 2 other couples In The room. I’m afraid to say that this lady took no pride in her job at all and let you down. The quality of what was on offer was cheap and nasty. I ate at the Parador for my evening meal, as I was so disappointed with the hotel. I didn’t even want to try your restaurant which is a shame and I ate lunch next door. You have a beautiful hotel and it’s a shame that your staff take no pride in their work cleaning and hospitality. I wanted to u to know as I was disappointed and it’s such a shame.
