La Casona De Calderon

It is a beautiful and welcoming hotel. The staff is very friendly. The room, despite being exterior is quiet. Very comfortable bed and very spacious bathroom. The buffet breakfast very good.. and you can have breakfast in the pool area on your own, which is very nice.

I felt very sorry, we chose the hotel because it had gastronomic but had no restaurant, the air conditioning was a disaster because it made a hellish noise, when cars passed through the street the room trembled and also you could hear laughter and screams from the bar below. We couldn't get any rest. The reception girls a wonder, the staff the best of the hotel, the breakfast the best the coffee but water fell from the ceiling above the kitchen. Cleaning very well although you have to admit that the furniture is very old and sound and the faucets rusty and the bathtub chopped. A shame because the patio is beautiful and the pool area but lacks a lot of maintenance.

The hotel states in it’s amenities there is a restaurant and cafe but the restaurant is now closed and there is no cafe. Very disappointed as we booked the hotel as it said it was gastronomic !!! Only Spanish was spoken, had to use google translate to communicate. Changed rooms dur to noisy pool pump.
