Apartamentos Ventura

Appartment clean needs updating. Beds awful like camp beds. Plows awful. No where to put your clothes. Big wardrobe 3 hangers nothing else for clothes. No room on the floor for a small suitcase in twin room. Double bed room nice . Hairdryer in bathroonm. I settee sits 3 converts to double bed. Balcony lovely big table 6 chairs dryer for clothes. My friend had a ground floor and it was dark and dingy. Showers great kitchen small but functional. Travel kettle. No wine glasses. washing machine had no instructions. No English TV. No map of where you were or local supermarket. 15 mins walk to puertoventura. No local bus. 15 min to sea. Reception a good 15 min walk with luggage some up hill. Needed a taxi . To far away to be functional. Had to drop back keys when checking out. Asked for €300 deposit on arrival check web site it's at the end of the covid info. Very late check in 5pm and was busy. We arrived at 2pm had to wander around. Luggage will be kept for a €1 A BAG . Kids had a great time in puertoventura but watch the queues...Some of the local restaurants are closed . Some restaurants close and reopen later. Cambrils great for fish. Would return to Salou.

These apartments are by far some of the nicest I have ever stayed in. They are spacious, clean and well equiped with a full kitchen, washing machine and huge balcony. I have stayed in a 3 bedroomed apartment before and it had 2 bathrooms but this time I booked a 2 bedroomed apartment and was thrilled to find that had 2 bathrooms too, great if you've got teenagers! There is a sofa bed in the living room so a 2 bed sleeps 6 comfortably. I booked through Universalholidaycentre and couldn't be happier. I paid a deposit by bank transfer and paid the balance on arrival. The office is just around the corner from the apartments and the staff were very helpful. The best thing about Salou is the Theme park Portaventura and the lovely long,, safe promanade and beach. Can't wait to go again.
