3-night stay in mid-August. The exterior appearance of the hotel is surprising. Close to the beaches and a 10-minute walk from the city center. There is no one at the front desk, ever... No requests or service possible. Room with a partial sea view balcony (€130 per night). Renovated room is very small, only one chair, very comfortable 150 cm double bed. Full bathroom. Effective air conditioning. Tiny balcony with no chair or drying rack. The problem is the total lack of soundproofing. You can hear everything, absolutely everything, from the neighbors on both sides.
Basic and minimalist breakfast (no hot dishes, kiwi is the only fruit available).
The hotel's gourmet restaurant seems to be popular with the locals. We had dinner there with the $55/person tasting menu. A succession of 10 small bites (mostly fish). Truly excellent!
