Whoever wrote positive reviews about this hotel are lucky people. There is an easy way to make you understand what this hotel is. It is the Overlook Hotel from Stephen King's the Shining. It must have had a moment of splendor and grace back in the 80's. In 2016 trust me it was spooky. Everything stayed just the same, and even if you are into vintage, you will feel that just like Jack Torrance, it is easy to lose your mind. Although it was arguably clean, I won't complain about that. My priority is that you don't ever order breakfast there. Sausages were dry - I mean it, they were crunchy, and greasy at the same time. Otherworldly creatures must prepare the food in this hotel because they have a texture and a taste that you can't find anywhere else in the world. So in this Spanish version of hotel California, don't eat eggs in the morning, unless you are curious with new experiments. I had personally never tried green eggs - that was the color, yes. They taste as awful as they look like. Bread was probably a bit out of date but was ok, so were the butter and the coffee. Cereals were the worst I ever tasted. Personnel was smiling, nice and helpful. Although I am a big fan of Stanley Kubrick, I can't recommend this hotel. We saw reviews online saying "huyen de este sitio" (Spanish people saying "flee from this place"). We saw that this was not exaggerated - it was actually a bit under reality. Hardly slept because of the noise, locks weren't working well. Since personnel was so nice, you do want to give a good grade and write a nice review, but honestly, you just can't. This is not a place worth its price. If you don't have any other option, just spend the night and have a nice breakfast somewhere else, but if you do, just avoid Daurada Park.

We arrived at 7.30 pm to find the hotel reception closed. A note on the door pointed us towards the bar (which was awful) and the barman checked us in. We were given a key and pointed to the direction of the room. The room itself was clean, but there was paint peeling off the walls and on the balcony there were tens of cigarette ends stubbed out in a plant holder. The bed was very uncomfortable with what felt like a spring poking in my back. Breakfast was included - if that's what you could call it. Stale croissants, bacon with not meat; just fat and rind. We only wanted a stop off whilst driving through Spain, but this hotel is terrible. It needs a lot of money spent on it to bring it up to standard.

This hotel is not suitable for british holidaymakers it is much further out than cambrils.you have to get a taxi once you get off the transfer coach as they dont go that far out. there was no reception no reps.and the manager played musical chairs for 6nts out of a week.ithis was meant to be A.Inclusive but all we got was 3meals a day with drinks. The pool bar didn,t open till 6pm.and there was no snacks between meals .the evening meal was not available till 8pm.This was a motel so there was no holiday atmosphere.
