Our stay had many wonderful highlights, starting with the fantastic location right close to the beach. It is such a lovely, peaceful environment with truly enjoyable entertainment, including a magic show that we absolutely loved and many other fun activities. The pool is beautifully large and generally very clean, though we did occasionally notice some hair in the water. We also really appreciated the Jacuzzi; my parents mentioned it was wonderful and offered a great view, though guests should note it is reserved for those aged 18 and over.The room was perfectly clean when we arrived, and the air conditioning kept the space nicely cool, though the airflow felt just a little bit weak. We did notice a few minor things with the ongoing housekeeping during our stay. There was often a bit of sand left on the floor after cleaning, and the mop used left a noticeable odor in the room afterward. Additionally, we accidentally got some sand on the beds. Because we stayed for eight and a half days, we had hoped the sheets might be changed once or twice, but the staff gently made the bed without replacing the linens.In the bathroom, the shower itself was clean, though the water temperature was a bit tricky to regulate—it tended to switch between scalding hot and just slightly warm, without an option for cold water. When the water was turned on, it was also quite loud, and we could hear it from the neighboring rooms. Similarly, the shower would rumble and pause for a moment before turning on fully again.The resort is beautifully calm at night, but the walls do seem a bit thin, as we could hear a baby crying from about five rooms away. However, we completely understand that this is likely just due to the charm and character of an older building.Overall, the hotel offers lovely value for the price paid. Addressing these small cleanliness and maintenance details would truly elevate the guest experience to something perfect.

We have been to many different types of hotels, and always have the "its what you make of it" attitude, I am also a manager of a hotel so I appreciate what goes on behind the scenes to make all the departments work and make a guest have the best time. We where looking for a cheap last minute holiday (even though it was not that cheap), so booked here and regreted it from the moment we arrived. Staff are rude, barge past you, ignore you when you ask things. Actually asked for ice after the all inclusive drinks package finished (but you could still buy drinks at the bar) my husband got given 2 bits of ice and got told if he wanted anymore ice he was to go to a shop and buy it!!! As someone who has diabetes and is menopausal, i was absolutely appalled at this. When my husband came back and said this, I was shocked so I went to the bar and asked and got the same response off the bar man eith the black shirt. I then got dressed to go find a shop at 00.30, asked the nightporter where an open shop was and he told me they are all closed, he would get me ice. Mosamba the night porter was the only friendly staff member I came across. Thank you very much to him. The food was the worst I have ever had anywhere, I was actually looking to go pay and stay at another hotel because how bad this is, but instead have had to go pay to eat out all the time. I would never stay at this hotel again or recommend it.

We recently stayed here and, overall, our experience was mixed. There were some positives, but unfortunately there were also several disappointments. The food wasn't really suited to English tastes, and we often struggled to find something we enjoyed. While some members of staff were friendly, others came across as quite rude, which made us feel unwelcome at times. Our room was quite basic. The balcony only had two plastic chairs and no table, which was disappointing. The air conditioning also occasionally gave off a strong sulphur smell, which wasn't very pleasant. The biggest issue was our airport transfer on departure. The reception staff were very unhelpful when we asked where our transfer meeting point was. We ended up walking around in 33°C heat with our luggage, trying to find it ourselves using Google Maps because nobody could give us clear directions. It was an unnecessary and stressful end to our holiday. The entertainment was also fairly disappointing, with not much variety throughout our stay. Finally, the drinks system was frustrating. Every time you wanted a drink, you had to hand over a drinks card and have your wristband scanned, even though the sign stated a maximum of two drinks per person. It made ordering a simple drink much more complicated than it needed to be. Overall, we still managed to enjoy parts of our holiday, but there are several areas that need improving, particularly customer service, the transfer information provided by reception, and the drinks system.
