Medplaya Hotel Piramide Salou

If you want to rest, keep moving, it's noisy! If you arrive at 10 p.m., they tell you there is nothing to eat, not even a piece of fruit, even though your meal is paid for! You spend two days at the park, which means fewer meals. On the other hand, on the last day, they cut your wristband at 11 a.m.! Even though your all-inclusive package should include lunch, well, not with them! // response: hotel policy // The indoor bar opens at 12 p.m., the coffee costs extra! There are constantly machines broken; oh, very original too, you have to walk around with your plastic cup for the outside! All week long, so much for hygiene. 23 min wait for a drink, thanks! ; at the restaurant, a gentleman, who thinks he's a head waiter, and watch out not to cross the entrance rope, otherwise he scolds you with a look like at school, never seen that either, the food is decent, nothing more; if you want to drink something other than the soda machines you have to ask, no one comes, and you also have to clear your plates if you want a clean table; the rooms are cute and clean, Conclusion: a week all-inclusive where all 4 of us felt like we were in a cafeteria, or even a mess hall. not welcomed but tolerated, however the young representatives from O Voyage were charming and very professional; thanks to them

Check in good room was modern and clean food was good jesus was great in restaurant, snack bar by pool also great well done all. Location fantastic 5min walk to centre water parks easy access. Bar area at night had no background music in fact customers brought their own speaker in and we had singsong a few nights. In back room they had few shows silent disco was the best. Must give big shout out to the girls that done the activities day and night they were credit to themselves and there families well done all Pool was bit cold but warmed up later beds were available most times

The hotel was clean but very basic , they are trying to make as much money as possible on a shoe string . When leaving we asked to leave our luggage in a secure room and it was chargeable lockers €6 euros per suitcase !! All of the places and hotels I have ever visited I / we as a family have never been charged . There was 1 mirror in the bathroom , no mirrors in the bedroom and wardrobe area , there was 11 of us in 3 rooms and all rooms were the same , the service ( or lack of ) by Bella at the restaurant on the last morning was appalling , she and the hotel chain should be ashamed of themselves . The pool area was nice and clean , the snacks at lunch were cold . We went on a b&b basis as we wanted to venture out to the restaurant’s in Salou . 1st night we arrived there was a power cut twice and the 2nd time it went off for ages so some of the party including children as young as 7 showering in the dark , no hairdryer and no charger for phone etc and the lifts were usually out of action for the whole time we were there . I would definitely visit Salou again bur we definitely would never stay at this hotel again , no tea and coffee making facilities either . I emailed the hotel 3 times prior to our stay and filled out a contact us form and never received an acknowledgment but to be fair they did put all 3 rooms next to each other . We were celebrating my Mum’s 70th so we had an amazing time , we slept and showered at the hotel but the rest of time we stayed away from the hotel . It really needs a total overall , it’s definitely not an 4 star rating !!
