Hotel Medano

We stayed today for lunch, everything was booked so we sat inside and had a snack, asked for a table but there was no availability, so we went to eat somewhere else. We went back for coffee and digestive and were told they didn't serve coffee, the coffee maker was off. We ordered liquors and soft drinks and before they arrived we saw that at the next table, the same waiter who told us that on Sunday afternoons they turned off the coffee maker so that they would not all arrive for coffee, carried a tray with at least 10 coffees between cut, alone and with milk. We got up and left, canceling the order we made forced, as what we wanted was coffee. The waiter's answer was that they had coffee because they had lunch. How much are you willing to spend for coffee here????

My third time at this hotel, went with my 18 year old son this time. As always, excellent service from the friendly and helpful staff. Rooms cleaned and beds made up every day. Location is perfect. Shame the rooms don't have air conditioning, the ceiling fan is a bit all or nothing. Will be booking again for next year.

This was a lovely hotel on the seafront in a beautiful location. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely. TV, fridge, kettle and tea and coffee available. A few negatives, balcony had wide horizontal bars which would be risky for toddlers but I understand this is compliant with Spanish law. Breakfast was cold no matter when you arrived, even at the begining of service, which was a shame. Fan on ceiling was not always adequate to cool the room, air conditioning would have improved the stay, but to be fair to the hotel they don't say they have air conditioning in rooms. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. In general I would say if you like the sun and the beach life and need a chilled base next to the sea, this would be a great choice.
