Emblematico San Marcos Hotel

Great little traditional Canarian hotel with antiques,hidden rooms and polished floors We arrived by bus early ,check in is 2pm but our room was ready and we were allowed an early check in which was great Our room had a great view with a balcony and was really quiet There was a safe in the room,a kettle and small fridge Breakfast was traditional European with cheeses ,cooked meats and eggs.Cakes and breads too We only saw one staff member and she was helpful and efficient The hotel is situated in a quiet area but easy walking to the centre of town and the attractions. We found the room a little cool (it was December )and the room would have benefited from a heater Also I’m not keen on shower curtains I would imagine the rooms on the front by the road could get noisy so if you want a quite room ask for a room with a balcony at the back. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel

Typical hotel, large comfortable room, welcoming bed. But you will have to call to be welcomed after a Waiting time (door permanently closed), you will not see anyone except for breakfast (correct), you will have to hoist your suitcase on a very steep staircase, the room is a little dark, the balcony pleasant. We spent 4 nights there, it was too much, a bit tristounet. And be careful, we were treated to the village festival at 100m on a Saturday. It was impossible to sleep until 6am and 7am, the cleaning trucks! resumed on Sunday! fortunately, the rain made us calm. As for the parking, extremely steep street, almost no place and our car hit the first night (365€ on the Topcar franchise (renter to avoid in Tenerife) . So we put it in the public car park the other nights at €12.50 a night. Hotel well placed to visit the South East

What a beautiful hotel, classic in appearance and well run. Everything was spotless and the service was excellent. We were staying in Tenerife in Fababe for 2 weeks and just wanted a quiet couple of days away, and this hotel was perfect. Oh, and remember to bring an appetite to breakfast.
