Parador de la Gomera

very nicely located Parador in a great setting. The building and its location, including the surrounding botanical garden, are consistently impressive. The beds are somewhat uncomfortable, and the selection at breakfast and for meals in general could be a bit larger and more diverse. Especially regarding meatless dishes. Unfortunately, the bathroom smelled very unpleasantly of sewage throughout our stay.

"We just returned from our stay at the Parador de San Sebastián de La Gomera and we can only say wonderful things. My wife and I enjoyed the half-board plan and it has been a fantastic experience, especially enjoying its wonderful pool, where the service is excellent. What really makes this place stand out is its human team. The attention from the waiters is top-notch; they are first-class professionals who make you feel at home from the first minute. We especially want to thank them for a detail that touched our hearts: it was my birthday and, without having asked for it, they had the kindness to celebrate it for me and, in addition, they decorated the table the night before. It is gestures like these that make the difference. Likewise, we want to highlight the excellent work of the receptionists and their managers, who provided us with impeccable service at all times. I recommend without hesitation visiting La Gomera and staying at this Parador. The entire team is reason enough to plan a getaway. We wish you all the best and hope to return very soon. The Parador de la Gomera (San Sebastián de la Gomera) has been a great choice for a few days of rest. Its location as a balcony to the Atlantic and its facilities and services make this parador an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of big cities. Its varied garden features all kinds of well-maintained local species. Not only the parador but the entire island deserves a visit, but for a minimum of five days.
