Cordial Golf Plaza Aparthotel

We had a fantastic stay at the Grand Muthu Golf Plaza Hotel & Spa. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The all inclusive food and drinks were great, with plenty of choice and good quality. We’d read reviews saying you’d be waiting ages for food and drinks, but that simply wasn’t our experience. We visited during peak July and never waited more than five minutes, even at the busiest times. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. If we’re being really picky, there are a few age related marks here and there, but that’s something you’ll find in almost any hotel and it certainly didn’t affect our stay. We also saw reviews saying other guests were hostile. We honestly never experienced that at all. Everyone we came across was friendly, and the atmosphere around the pool was brilliant, especially during the daytime activities. Of course, you’ll always come across the odd rude person wherever you go even at a luxury five star resort so that’s very subjective and certainly wasn’t representative of our holiday. We didn’t go to the late night entertainment ourselves, but we could hear it and it always sounded lively, with plenty of people enjoying themselves. Overall, we had no issues whatsoever. We felt we got exactly what we paid for, and arguably even better value than expected. Don’t let some of the negative reviews put you off everyone’s experience is different, but ours was excellent, and we’d happily stay here again.

Brilliant hotel. Fantastic animation team. Mike is great as a DJ. Mel goes above and beyond for everyone, especially the kids. If you put the effort in with them, they will reciprocate the energy. We’ve been twice this year and had a great time! Maria in reception is great too. She’s English so any questions were easily answered by her! Jose in the restaurant too-incredible! Always welcomed us with a smile and such great energy. Only downfalls are the flies around the pool (which can’t be helped) and the evening entertainment is a bit rubbish. A kids disco would be great! Singers every night are average.

There are many hotels in Tenerife, but this one takes the cake. It's very lovely. We stayed in room 230 and the balcony was massive, it felt lovely. The beds were very comfy. The restaurant was lovely and the food was delicious. My favourite night was BBQ night. The burgers were delicious. Since it's an all inclusive, you get access to all drinks and it's worth it. It's near a bus stop so you can get to Los Cristianos. Absolute must
