Nice clean hotel. We think the description on the hotel’s and TUI’s website is misleading regarding the sea view. We paid for full sea views (a lot of money) and a large balcony, but got an apartment with views to the street and the building opposite. The sea could be slanted to the right. This is what other hotels will call “partial sea view or inclined sea view”, and you pay less for it. The hotel claimed that we had gotten an apartment with sea views. Fortunately we got another apartment after a few days. Here there was a nice view of the sea and La Gomera in the background.

We booked and paid for a pool view room. We got a standard room backing onto a busy road that started loading stores up with veg etc... from 5am till 9am none stop. At one point there was 4 lorries there. We told them we had paid for a pool view and they just replied "it's not available ". They really didn't care or make any offer. After walking 50km we needed the sleep. Extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately, this hotel is not within our expectations. Ok, we booked reasonably late and it is indeed a 3 star hotel, but the service really left something to be desired in my view. The apartments are spacious. Everything is well polished (to the extent possible) but this hotel is really in need of renewal. We did find a packet of butter in the fridge. The sockets look old and dirty, the floor feels ’greasy’ and the beds are a shelf with mattress on. The cupboards in the kitchen and room seem to suffer from some humidity. In our apartment it also smelled like the kitchen of an underlying bar / restaurant. After midnight, it's hard to get in. The doorbell did not work and when you call the contact number, they only speak Spanish. After a long time of banging on the door, someone finally came to answer. This was not an isolated incident because the second night we experienced exactly the same thing so we decided the third night to be back before midnight. The first morning also the breakfast was disappointing. Everything was as good as empty and there was hardly any cutlery to be found so we went for breakfast somewhere else the second day. The day of departure finally took breakfast in the hotel and that turned out to be a bit better than the first day. More choice and everything seemed sufficiently complemented. Checking out went smoothly, but there was little interest in our findings. That is why I am writing down my reservations here. Maybe we have a little too little experience with this type of hotel, but with the price we paid, it seemed to be a better hotel than what we experienced.
