FAMILY GARDEN COMPOSTELA BEACH

We were staying in one of the privately owned villas but had use of all the facilities. The pool areas were kept so clean. There is a nice baby pool with some small slides going into it. The main pool is really quite deep for younger kids that are too big for the baby pool which sometimes meant the baby pool had kids that were a little too boisterous for it, but it was not a major problem. The little shop was convenient and sold a good selection of stuff. The location for the beach at La Vista in Playa was brilliant - just across the road. We have never spent so much time at a beach but it was because it was so close to our villa. Reception were not the friendliest or the most helpful but apparently this could be down to the fact we were in a privately rented villa and hadn't booked through them. That said, we did not need much from them so it was not an issue. Plenty of sunbeds for everyone, sun on the pool areas for most of the day, bar and restaurant which catered for the all inclusive clientele of the hotel bit but which anyone could use. Quite a nice children's activity club with various activities although it wasn't open for long hours. The children's mini disco and entertainment at night was pretty rubbish to be honest, not much thought or imagination or effort had gone into it and the entertainers did too much talking and not enough involving the kids. We didn't bother after two nights of it. We would go back. We are a couple holidaying with our 2 year old.
