Stayed in room 131 (loved this room ) from 27th June for a week .
The hotel was always clean , staff friendly , have to mention Christine on reception , a very tired 5 year old after a long night travelling - she was so nice with her and the lollipops defo helped !
Kids club .. never ever in 6 holidays has my daughter stayed at kids club , AMELIE was outstanding !! She was so kind and caring with my little girl and even came to our room to say bye bye to her when she was going for days off ! We really miss her and are looking to book again (Amelie you’re not allowed a day off the whole week !) . The following days my LO refused to go when Amelie was on her hard earned days off ,she honestly made such an impact and made her feel safe !
The food was always fresh but not as much choice as we are used to , maybe being so close to the strip ,many go out for evening meals ? however what they did have was fresh and lovely .
We will defo come back for more !

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR REVISIT
Overall we had a poor experience at the Cristobal in Tenerife.
7 in the party and paid an extremely overpriced £9,600 for 1 week in July, booked through TUI.
Location was in the heart of shopping, restaurants and a short walk from the beach.
EMBLEM - this is “All inclusive plus” and was not clearly explained by TUI when I booked it. If you are travelling as a large family, make sure all rooms are on the same level to avoid some family members not being allowed to have certain benefits.
Emblem is supposed to be the top all inclusive package, yet you still had to pay for certain drinks, wine at meal times, ice creams and additional time on the Cabana beds.
ROOMS - this is far from a 3 or 4 star hotel. The bungalows and villas need maintenance and are not well looked after. Cleaning is very basic or non existent.
Bungalow 39 smelt of smoke throughout the rooms, considering this was a child friendly room, we were not best pleased.
There is not a TV in the main villa or bungalow bedrooms, which was odd.
English as a first language - The reception staff will often speak in Spanish to have “side discussions” before replying in English to you.
We had tools left in our children’s room and they were quick to give excuses, they did apologise.
Food - the all inclusive food is below average. If you want variety and fresh food choices this isn’t the best place. 4 of our family members have allergies which seemed to be a large inconvenience to the kitchen and waiting staff. Very limited selection of choices for free-from foods.
Pools - the pools were fine, slightly small considering the number of guests but were clean and watched by lifeguards.
General hotel grounds - some areas are well kept and others are very dirty/poorly kept. If you have small children I would be careful of items being left around.
Noise - this hotel is in a fairly lively area and we expected some noise. If you want a quiet place to relax I wouldn’t say this is the ideal hotel.

entertainment not really up to much,
Marco Polo brilliant service at meal times and great with the kids
deposit for pool towels excessive and unnecessary,
all inclusive ends at 11p.m.
not much shade provided,
room cleaning hit and miss,
no coffee/tea in room but kettle provided,
iron on request at reception,
only one bottle of water in fridge at beginning of week which wasn't replaced.
ideal location near beach, eateries and shops.
brilliant facilities for kids with football pitch, play areas and kids pools
