Arrived at 11.30am, check in not till 3pm, however room was ready and the big bonus was our friends were able to be in the room next to us. Rooms are well equipped and clean (well room sixty one was anyway facing tje pool) with tv an 5 english channels, a rainfall shower and hairdryer.
I didn't really understand the extra balcony space above as there was nothing on it, perhaps it could benefit from a couple of sunloungers?
Sunloungers started being reserved around 9am but no mad rush for them. As others have said I booked self catering but got told off for eating watermelon on the sunbed and the my husband couldn't drink a can of beer on his sunbed, it had to be from the pool bar. Having said that the pool bar was reasonably priced but it didnt matter as our room was a 10 second walk from tje pool so got food amd drink when meeded. No ball games, floaties jumping in or music in/around the pool.
The hotel was good but the location for me put me off. The area seems to need a bit of a clean and the beach was black sand and rocks.
Again, we went with another family and wanted to play cards in the late evening. We got told we could not do that and had to go to our room, the irony is our room was right next to where we wanted to play cards but the night security man kept coming past flashing his torch!
I did like this hotel but to many rules that were unreasonable and for that reason we won't be returning.

Great for couples and young people wanting to enjoy the night life. **NOT FOR YOUNG FAMILIES**
This is no fault of the hotel, but the fact jet 2 let us book with 3 young kids, knowing it wouldn’t be suitable.
We did not except anything fancy given the * and cost of our holiday. Rooms are great for families, spacious and enough facilities to have breakfast and lunch here. Need a bit of a tidy up with some paint etc but nothing out of the ordinary given the price. Cleaners came in most days, very friendly and lovely with the kids.
Pool is always clean and hotel in general seems clean.
We can’t fault the staff, all really friendly, very willing to help and accommodating.
Other reviews mention no food round pool and the bar man getting upset. This wasn’t an issue for us, I’m wondering if these people had sat at his bar seating when eating their own food? We ate on sunbeds with no problem.
More of an 18-30 vibe going on.
Large groups of 18 year olds in pool, which is fine they have to every right to use the facilities. But swearing, vaping at pool side and drinking in the pool is not acceptable. These are all against the rules of the hotel as well.
We can look past their rowdy behaviour but not when we have young impressionable children with us.
They have complete disregard for the other guests and children around them. They’re more concerned about impressing each other.
To give credit, older life guard is on them so this is not tolerated at all when he’s around.
However, there is also a younger life guard, who looks similar age to these groups and clearly feels uncomfortable telling them, spends 99% of his time on his phone with his ear pods in, not paying attention to what’s actually going on. Looks very uncomfortable when he is having to address an issue.
Plus side of such a young clientele is that the pool is very quiet from 10am till around 14:00! Some days we’ve had the pool to ourselves for the majority of the morning.
Our issues we feel are a jet2 fault for allowing a family to book in a hotel that’s clientele is young party goers and not a fault of the hotel. However we are reviewing to highlight for any other young families looking at booking.
Hot water seems to run out after 2 showers, but give it 30 mins and it heats back up again.
I think the hotel could potentially group younger guests together and families separate where possible. We have had to come in off balcony as kids trying to sleep but next door a large group of lads very loud on balcony. They are just enjoying themselves so not fair on them either to be placed next to a young family.
There’s no way of contacting reception from your room. So we are unable to ring down and ask them to address the issues we are having. A phone in room, or way to contact would be ideal even if it’s an email to reception
The location is perfect, lots to do around the area. €5 in taxi to aqua land. Don’t use uber!
If you’re 18-21, single and on the pull then this is the place for you. Young families, I would suggest booking elsewhere.

Location great for restaurants and beaches.
Atmosphere at pool bar decent playlist and food reasonably priced but don't like you having your own stuff at pool. Also lots of big groups of young ones for most of our stay put us off a bit. Not enough sun beds for everyone, some lying all day but life guard will remove if highlighted.
Rooms were quite nice but no AC, you can hire for €100 with a €20 return at end of week. There are lots of steps if you are up the top.
