Don’t be put off by some of the odd reviews of this hotel. We had a week there (3 adults, 3 kids) in August ‘26 and loved it. Of course it’s not a 5 star hotel for Dubai, but it’s definitely better than any other European resort I’ve stayed at. Maybe it should be 4.5 stars. There were some things needed improving, but nothing that would ruin your holiday.
The staff were fantastic, and the evening entertainment was fun.
Location is okay, and although planes constantly fly just north of the hotel, it’s never annoying.
The buffet wasn’t the best ever, but it’s more than adequate and there was plenty of nice food.
The shortage of sun loungers - there’s usually somewhere to sit/lie. You’ve just got to look around and be imaginative. We didn’t really struggle though.
Overall, it’s a really nice hotel.
Yes, it’s breezy, and yes, there’s the odd cockroach, but hardly any dramas.
Los Cristianos is a 25 euro, 20 minute taxi ride. Bit expensive, but hey ho.
Kayaking in the lake was fun, but over quite quickly.
Our kids loved the hotel and made friends easily due to the basketball court, and the great hotel staff.
