I stayed at the Hotel Reina Cristina during my visit to Teruel and the experience was very positive. The best thing about the hotel is, without a doubt, its privileged location on the Paseo del Óvalo, right next to the old town, which allows you to walk to all the Mudejar monuments and points of interest without needing to take the car. The service from the staff was excellent and very professional at all times. It is a highly recommended 4-star hotel for sightseeing in the city

First of all, it is difficult to get to the hotel with all these pedestrian streets At the reception, the person clearly saw that we were foreigners, but that did not stop him from speaking very quickly, and he sent us to park the car in a public parking lot 400 m away Arriving in the room, a surprise in the entryway: face-to-face with a sink outside the "bathroom," very funny. Cramped bathroom of 1.5 m by 1.5 m. Impossible to take a shower without bumping into things. We had requested a large bed, no luck, we have two beds; for my wife's birthday, that's a win. We go to the front desk to complain and we are told that the hotel is full, but after discussion, they offer us with an indignant look a room with a view of the parking lot; well, there is indeed a parking lot, actually in the elevator there is indeed a parking button, at least 2. It wasn't offered to me, nice. For a 4-star hotel it is not great, we had just come from Cuenca where we had a supposedly 3-star hotel but which was far superior and that for half the price paid here. Even if we are foreigners, we have a residence in Spain and travel in this country, but we will not return to this hotel. Positive point though, the breakfast was very good. To start, it was complicated to get to the hotel because of all the pedestrian streets. At the front desk, the person who helped us realized that we were foreigners, but that didn't stop them from speaking very quickly and directing us to a public parking lot 400 meters away. Upon arriving at the room, we were surprised to find a sink outside the "bathroom" at the entrance; quite funny. The bathroom was tiny, barely 1.5 x 1.5 meters. It was impossible to shower without bumping into everything. We had requested a double bed, but unfortunately, they gave us two single beds. For my wife's birthday, that's a nice extra. We went to the front desk to complain and they told us the hotel was full. However, after discussing it for a while, they offered us, with an indignant look, a room with a view of the parking lot. So there is a parking lot after all. In fact, there is a parking button in the elevator, at least two. They didn't offer it to me. What a nice touch! For a 4-star hotel, it's not great. We are coming from Cuenca, where we stayed in a supposedly 3-star hotel that was much better, and for half the price we paid here. Although we are foreigners, we have residency in Spain and travel there, but we will not return to this hotel. That said, the breakfast was very good.
