the experience of having breakfast in the Middle Ages, the dining room with armor, and the tables and chairs, and a very good lunch, from our era.

POSITIV: Central location opposite the Alcazar, attractions easily reachable on foot; Parking garage only 50m away (the hotel offers a parking discount; inquire at the reception before departure); Very good breakfast buffet with freshly squeezed orange juice, very good coffee from the machine; even salmon and Spanish ham. NEGATIV: We booked a room with a terrace and a view. The beautiful terrace had a lovely view of the Toledo Cathedral, but no furniture, no chairs, no table!! Why did I even book the expensive room with a terrace? Use was not possible in this way. The room was otherwise sufficiently large, as was the bathroom. Mattress was fine, clean. Although this is a tourist hotel, the TV only had Spanish channels, not a single German channel. The rooms with terraces are not on the level where the elevator stops, but half a floor lower, so you have to haul the heavy suitcases down and later back up; not suitable for the disabled! The staff should have helped here. The ladies at the reception were rather distant and unmotivated. CONCLUSION: Even though the breakfast was very good, the price-performance ratio needs to be reconsidered. If the terrace had been furnished and the TV had at least 2 or 3 German channels, I would have given 4 out of 5 points.

Shameful for a 4-star hotel. Hotel recommended by Puy du Fou. We were given a room with scaffolding that covered the entire balcony. At 7:30 in the morning on Friday, June 19, the transfer of workers began, waking us up with tremendous bangs from a wheelbarrow full of debris that was going up and down on a pulley. With a "sorry" at the reception, they resolved the issue. I understand that this is a room that should not be operational given this highly inappropriate situation. Moreover, behind the scaffolding, our balcony faced a private residence balcony where all the neighbor's underwear was hanging less than two meters away... DISGRACEFUL.
