El Hostal Puerta Bisagra

Except for the parking, which is not the hotel's fault, everything was great. (Cozy, friendly service, breakfast...)

Beautiful structure, very particular reception and well cared for. Comfortable room and large enough. Very courteous and helpful staff. The location is very good, especially to be able to leave the car in the outdoor parking lots (in July and August you pay only from 10 to 14 from Monday to Saturday); the square and other main attractions are within walking distance in 10 minutes. Small bathroom.

The value for money is terrible. We arrive at night and when you arrive at the room after a long day you find that there is no hairdryer after taking a shower. Neither did the wifi nor the TV. Add to this the tiny size of the room, the beds, a scrawny wardrobe with no doors, grazed walls, lousy bathroom with dirty tiles and a small window that overlooked a horrifying inner courtyard. Anyway, a disaster, typical hostel for which you would not pay more than 50-60 € but which cost me 185 €/night. Logically the photos you find on the website and on the booking sites are a hoax and you think it is a Parador hotel for the price it costs but nothing further from reality. I'm never going back to this hotel or any other in this chain.
