This hotel is currently the “Puerta de Ocaña”, where we stayed at the end of June, a very hot day in Ocaña, 35º on the street, we had arrived at 6 pm after a long trip and we needed to rest in the room cold that they had assured us there was in the hotel, our surprise when we entered the room was that we were shocked, because the heat inside was so tremendous that we immediately went down to the reception to have them change our rooms, so They did it, they gave us another one that seemed to be cooler and apparently the air conditioning was working, although it was also hot, but not as hot because it was facing the area of the street where the sun did not shine, after resting a little we left for dinner and when we entered the room at 10 p.m., it was still hotter than in the afternoon, the air conditioning was working, the thermostat read 27.9º, after spending a while trying to get the air to come out cooler and seeing that It was not like that, we went down to the reception, and the young man who was there at night went out of his way to try to solve the problem, but it was impossible after looking at the temperature in 5 rooms that were empty, but in all of them it showed different and higher temperatures, so we decided to stay where we were and sleep as best we could, and in the end we managed it at 4 in the morning and thanks to exhaustion and the fact that we opened the window to let in fresh air and the fan working, and that when we reserved the room They told us that they had good air conditioning, but it seems that it is centralized and they set it at the temperature they want and not at what the client needs individually with the room regulator. They believe that this way they save money because they consume less and do not They realize that more money is spent because the system tries to cool down and does not, in addition to losing customers, because to stay warm it is worth sleeping anywhere

Very easy and straightforward to find just off the motorway. Parking is difficult for check in, but they have a secure underground car park once you've done that. To check in we parked at the Dia supermarket which is just across the road. The guy on reception was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean but fairly basic and in need of updating (as is the case with most Spanish hotels). We had a good night's sleep on comfortable bed.The beautiful main square is about 5 minutes walk away. Has many bars around the perimeter which charge moderate prices. The hotel has a restaurant offering 'menu del dia' at 10€. We had breakfast in the hotel bar. Liked best - location, very near a supermarket and there is petrol station almost next door, to help you on your way.

We stayed over in Ocaña on route to Madrid. Lovely little hotel, quite basic but clean. We had a sauna in our room as an extra. Very friendly staff. Good value for money. Would recommend it for a night there to see the village, plaza mayor and taste local cuisine.
