Hotel Avenida Plaza

We have stayed two times in the Hotel Avenida Plaza in Alzira, Valencia, Spain; for two weeks in February 2025 and five days in October 2024; our review is based on our experience during both stays. We only have good things to say about the hotel and its staff. The hotel is centrally located in Alzira, a convenient and short walk to most places in town. Rooms are clean, well equipped with a mini fridge, both air conditioning and heating work well, space is good (we stayed in one triple room). The entire premises of the hotel are very clean and well kept. The breakfast (which, if paid in advance when booking the room is a very reasonable price), was very good, with a variety of choices, and served by staff. Coffee is wonderful, as it is in the entire Spain;-) Overall, we were more impressed by the staff, all very nice,very accommodating, very down to earth and simply a joy to deal with. We are particularly grateful to Natalia, who treated us in a lovely way, and also to Laura, equally nice and supportive. With the rest of the staff, we did not interact that much, but every time we did, they were all very nice. We found that the prices for the hotel rooms were reasonable, perhaps a bit high, considering Alzira is not a touristic place, but nevertheless fair for the quality you get and the treatment the staff provides. All in all we strongly recommend Hotel Avenida Plaza in Alzira, and we will surely be back there in the near future. We only have positive things to say, about the hotel and its employees. The hotel is very well located in the center of Alzira, to all places you can walk very easy. The rooms are very clean, well equipped with a small fridge, air conditioning and heating work well. The room space is good (we were on a triple in October, very large; the double room is smaller but anyway good size for two people). The hotel is very clean and clean. Breakfast (which if paid in advance, at the time of booking, is cheaper) was very good, with a variety of options, and served by employees. The coffee is like all those made in Spain: fantastic ;-) In general what we liked the most were the hotel employees, very nice and willing to accommodate the needs we had. We are particularly grateful to Natalia, who treated us spectacularly and very helpfully; and Laura, who was also very nice and considerate. The rest of the staff, although we did not interact so much, was always courteous, pleasant, in short: a real pleasure to see and talk to them. The prices of the rooms we consider reasonable, perhaps a little high, especially when you consider that Alzira is not really a tourist focus like other places in Spain; but the quality of the treatment and conditions makes the prices understandable. Overall we definitely recommend the Hotel Avenida Plaza in Alzira, and we will surely return there in the near future.

If you go to this Hotel I advise you to be careful with the belongings do not forget it out there, in the lounge, dining room or bar more if it is at night.I have left my review on Booking. One night I forgot a 100 € perfume (105 with the shipment there is pictured) in the living room and the next morning it was gone, "it disappeared". The receptionist, who was alone at night, said he saw nothing and the others I spoke to blamed a client who took him. How easy it is to take responsibility! Then you replied on Booking that I said the perfume cost 160 € and then 60 €. Wow, it looks like you didn't want to look or listen well to what I said when I told you. I said that on that day to look on ebay I saw it at the price of 160 €, as it is discontinued and expensive. I never said 60 €, do not invent.The things that I forgot in the room and I have been returned is because the cleaning staff are people to be trusted but this does not take away and I should not overlook what has happened.Similarly, I recorded a video before leaving with all my belongings because in such a small hotel, if something disappears and there are no cameras and what happened, because I did make a video.And I can blame who I think has it without taking away my responsibility to forget it. But who doesn't have to leave something somewhere? It means that if there are no cameras, shouldn’t those in the hotel be aware of what happens in their workday?Indicate that I have lied about what it cost me is so that readers of the reviews think that I am not honest.If they have told me that they believe me that I had it because it makes it seem like I lied about the price?well there is the invoice and when I go someday I will show you the name on it too.If your apologies were going to look sincere I would not write this but they were not. If there are no cameras and something happens, they should install cameras. If they said yes, they would believe me, it is best to sincerely apologize to a customer and offer them a discount on their next stay if they want to come back. That's what I would have done as a manager, but instead, they make me look dishonest.Well, if just as I forgot the bag with some belongings when I left because I left the car in a double row and was in a hurry, so I left the perfume that night because I was tired and forgot, I didn't lie.The hotel itself is fine and the cleaning staff does a good job. However, I had this bad experience with the reception staff that made me wary of their way of handling matters.

Hotel very well located, well renovated, practical and with very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended for a professional and personal stay. Close and affordable parking. More than correct quality-price ratio.
