We were there on a bus trip; the hotel looks like a castle on a hill from the front; unfortunately, not from the back - for the majority of the hotel rooms, a building was added to the back of the hotel (from the reception down to five floors to the height of the freight harbor); it felt like sleeping in a basement - at the level of the reception, there were dining rooms/terraces - there were probably also rooms on upper floors; dinner and breakfast were good.

The building is very nice and the staff friendly. But the location of the hotel is not good because, although all rooms have views of the estuary, they also have them to the train tracks that pass just 10 meters from the hotel. Our room was above the station and trains pass every 20 minutes. So we asked for a change of room. Still, it was very annoying. Sorry, but we won't repeat. Tip: to visit Bilbao, we leave the car parked on the street next to the hotel and use the metro, which takes about 20 minutes to reach the center.

Hotel outside beautiful. The rooms at the bottom spacious but a little left to be a 4 star hotel.The shower head full of mold, among other things.There are two to keep in mind, which is next to the train station and that in the rooms do not have double curtain and when the sun comes up a lot of clarity .. small details that detract from the hotel.
